Clickbank Affiliates - Don’t Start Affiliate Marketing Promoting In The Make Money Online Niche

March 25th, 2008
The clickbank affiliate network is beginner friendly and newbies trying to earn money with affiliate marketing can start right away. I started with clickbank and that’s why I recommend it.

Is clickbank a scam? Do they pay on time?

Clickbank is everything except a scam. This affiliate network pays every two weeks like clockwork. It’s true that there are many products in the ‘make money online’ niche that make unbelievable claims, but you shouldn’t start by promoting these products.

The competition is fierce and you will lose so much time and money that you may quit. So don’t do it. Let me tell you a secret that you would never find by yourself. The money online and ‘Internet marketing’ niche has the biggest refund rate in the clickbank marketplace.

Sometimes, you promote a product, make a couple of sales and earn hundreds. A few days later, when you log into your clickbank account, you realize that all these sales have been refunded except one or two.

Nobody tell this, but it is the truth. This is another reason why you do not want to start with this niche. As a beginner, it’s better to start in the home improvement, health niche and others. In clickbank, you will find digital ebooks about thousands of topics.

Here is a smart way to promote other people’s product. Enter a niche with a clickbank product, find out if it’s profitable. If yes, develop your own product and make more money by recruiting other affiliate just like you who spend time and money promoting your products for you.

The Growing Influence of Video on Search Engine Optimization

March 11th, 2008
The use of video for Internet marketing strategies is predicted to become to a $3 billion dollar industry by the year 2010 by eMarketer Report. What an incredible figure, considering it has only really exploded in the last few years. Why are investors, businesses, and marketing/advertisement firms so excited about video? The answer lies in the numbers. The mass of viewers is so great, that anyone seeking to promote products or brands would be silly not to consider such a huge portion of the population. According to a market trends expert named Brian Haven, 53% of all adults using a broadband connection state that they watch videos online. Considering the current viewing audience and realizing the potential of online videos, it would be would silly not to invest in such a cost effective, wide reaching medium.

An enormous number of videos are produced and posted to the Internet every day by amateurs and professionals alike. From funny happenings to how to videos, there is an amazing surge of content, and it is inspired by the fact that anyone can be heard. Literally, anyone who makes a video and posts it on Youtube, Google Video, metacafe, or something similar, has the opportunity to be viewed by thousands, if not millions of viewers. It is a fantastic opportunity and an excellent way for businesses to make themselves known. This is without even considering the impact video can have on search engine rankings.

Like any content, video can also be utilized as a form of “link bait,” meaning it is valuable material that other websites, blogs, or forums might want to link to. If the video is posted to a video sharing website and optimized correctly, those links in turn bring recognition to the keywords and links associated with that video, which should all be pointing back to the creator. This practice is extremely new, and the results vary somewhat due to the current limitations in search engine indexing, but it may prove to be the most effective strategy. For now, the sure fire way to make sure videos bait to a particular website is by posting directly on that website. While also gaining viewers by submitting to Youtube and others, the object of posting directly to a website is to drive traffic directly to that site. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as a strategic social bookmarking campaign.

There is a video revolution on the move, and those who join will certainly surpass the competition. Not only can videos produce brand or product recognition, they can increase a website’s authority in the search engines and bring in great, relevant traffic. So why not start kicking around a few ideas?

The Complete Guide To Registering Your Domain Name And Setting Up Your Web Host

March 4th, 2008
Registering your domain name is one of the most important steps in your business. I remember when I did this it was almost symbolic of freedom. The domain name basically represented my business identity.

In this article I would like to go through the basics of setting up your web hosting and linking it to your registered domain name. I suggest you find a host that registers domain names cheaply. Some of them charge very high prices. I recommend Dotster or Godaddy as they have very competitive prices.

Once you decide on a Registrar you need to come up with a very good domain name. This will represent your business entity. It is very important that you choose one that accurately represents your business.

For example if you were running a used Chevrolet car dealership you could call the name usedchevroletcars.com. This is a real important part. Can you imagine ever typing a different domain name in your browser for Google. The point that I am trying to make is that this will build your brand.

Usually you will first have to do a search to see if your name has already been registered before. If it has I suggest that you choose a name that is available. The way that this works is once it has been registered it connects the name to your i.p. address where your website sits. So for example think of this like a post box. When you mail somebody you need to send them a letter to a postal address. When somebody types your site in the browser they get redirected to your website.

Finally, once you have completed payment it usually takes anywhere from 24 hours to 72 hours for the name to propagate over the internet. The last step is that you need to enter your website DNS details in the setup.
