For those of us trying to earn a little extra income via the web, we are looking for potentially profitable market segments that have not been noticed by other web publishers where we can design websites that focus on this niche, direct traffic to it, and hold people’s interest long enough for them to click around and ultimately click on one of our advertisements that we have strategically placed to maximize our click through rate. In a nutshell, I think that is all there is too it.

I would like to test this out a bit more, by using some of the strategies suggested by Yaro and John Reese. Once I have completed AlbertaTouist.com I will focus on identifying a niche and building a site like the one discussed by Jonathan.
